What a custom order is for
Use this page when the piece needs a quote, supplied artwork, or wording that is not a simple checkout field. If you already know the blank, you can also shop tumblers and send the details after.

How a custom order works
- Send the brief. Email the item, exact spelling, artwork, quantity, and ship or Grapevine pickup.
- We quote and proof. You get a price before work starts. Then we email a proof and make adjustments until you approve it.
- You approve. We engrave only after you confirm the proof. Check names and dates closely. The approved proof is the job.
- We finish it. Orders under 12 pieces ship in 1 to 3 business days after proof approval. Orders of 12 or more ship in 5 to 7 business days. Shipping time is separate. Local pickup is available in Grapevine, TX by emailing us first at hello@northtexaslaserworks.com.
Questions before you write
Do I need a finished design?
No. Send the wording and any reference you have. Standard text and supplied artwork have no design fee. If a piece needs artwork built from scratch, we will say so before any extra charge.
Can you engrave a tumbler I already own?
Often, yes. Send a photo and the brand if you know it. Bring-your-own engraving is $20, and we confirm the coating before we accept it. Damage already on the item stays your risk.
How fast is a custom order?
Orders under 12 pieces ship in 1 to 3 business days after proof approval. Orders of 12 or more ship in 5 to 7 business days. That is production time, not the day it arrives. The Rush Order add-on ($35) moves your order to the front of the queue for design, proof, and production. We attempt same-day work, but it is not guaranteed, and rush does not speed up shipping.
Is there a second-side fee, or a price break?
Drinkware is priced as the blank plus the engraving you approve. A second side is quoted only on business cards. For volume pricing, email hello@northtexaslaserworks.com.
Where do you ship, and can I pick it up?
We ship across the continental United States. Local pickup is available in Grapevine, TX by emailing us first at hello@northtexaslaserworks.com. Ask for pickup in the same email. We reply from hello@northtexaslaserworks.com within 1 to 2 business days.
What if the finished piece is wrong?
Custom work is final once you approve the proof. If we engrave the wrong name or design, or the defect is ours, email photos within 7 days and we will remake it. A spelling you approved is not a remake. Damage to an item you supplied stays your risk.
