North Texas Laser Works (“we”, “us”) runs northtexaslaserworks.com and our online store (the “Services”). We host our store on our own servers. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

To make, proof, engrave and ship your order, and to handle returns and remakes.
To process payments through our payment processor.
To run your account and send order and proof emails.
To answer your questions and provide support.
To understand how the site is used and improve it.
To send marketing emails if you sign up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
To prevent fraud, keep the site secure, and meet legal obligations.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep your cart and login working and to remember your settings. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to see how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed and how you arrived. GA4 uses cookies and collects device and usage details. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Some parts of the store, such as the cart and checkout, may not work without cookies.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with:
– Our payment processor, to take payment.
– Shipping carriers, to deliver your order.
– Google (GA4), for site analytics.
– Email and IT service providers who help us run the business.
– Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
– A buyer or successor, if the business is sold or merged.

Engraving files and proofs

Files you upload and the proofs we create are used only to make your order. We do not use your designs, logos or photos for marketing without your permission. We keep order records and engraving files only as long as we need them to handle your order, remakes and reorders, and to meet our legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your files sooner by emailing us.

How long we keep information

Order and engraving files: as long as we need them for your order, remakes and reorders, or to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our policies.
Account information: until you ask us to close your account.
Records we must keep for tax or legal reasons: as long as the law requires.

How we protect it

Our store runs on our own servers with encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access limited to people who need it, and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
– See the personal information we hold about you.
– Correct it.
– Have it deleted.
– Get a copy of it.
– Opt out of marketing emails and targeted advertising.

Children

The Services are not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
